Harold told us we needed to use our brain aerial (our hands up) if we wanted to ask something. He was very funny! We talked about the things that make us happy, sad, excited and scared. Harold told us that it's when we feel happy we treat others well. We played a fun game and sang a cool song (the link for this is at the bottom).
We are a class of Year 0/1 students at Saint Paul's Catholic School in Richmond, Nelson, New Zealand. We hope you enjoy having a look at all the fun we have on our learning journey throughout the year!

Life Education
Today we got to meet Harold the Giraffe in the Life Education truck. We were all very excited to see what was inside the big truck.

Caritas Unit 2016
For Religious Education we are learning about Cambodia, how Caritas NZ are helping them and how we can also help. During Lent our school will be part of a fundraising event to raise money for Cambodia. We watched this video about a day in the life of a girl called Sopee. We talked about how different our life is compared to Sopee's.
