Nelson Museum Visit

Photos of our Museum Visit.  We learnt about the protocols of a Powhiri and the Wharenui.  We are having a go at creating Kowhaiwhai patterns and Tukutuku patterns.  They all tell a story.  We are looking forward to going to the Whakatu Marae.

Daffodil Day

Here we are in the creations of making a daffodil to support the Cancer Society....

It is the ASB Cash Superhero visiting our class!  We learnt about coins and notes, needs and wants!

Creating "Shaun the Sheep"

We are creating sheep because there are lots of sheep in Aotearoa.  

We used cotton wool and we talked about how it felt...
